Military Leave ATCEMS Upon Employment Up to 15 days of paid leave per calendar year at full base pay, when ordered for military duty.
Personal Leave ATCEMS Upon Employment 8 hours vacation leave accrued each month and 8 hours of personal holiday each year at full base pay.
Exceptional Vacation ATCEMS Upon Employment 8 hours exceptional; vacation accrued per holiday for City authorized holidays.
Retirement ATCEMS 50%

Employee 50% 		Upon Employment Mandatory 8% of monthly salary, plus salary, plus interest, refundable upon termination. EMS matches amount upon retirement or death.
Short Term Disability ATCEMS Upon Employment Provides a portion of employee's salary when they are unable to work as a result of an off the job injury.
Sick Leave ATCEMS Upon Employment 8 hours sick leave each month at full base pay.
Tuition Reimbursement ATCEMS Six months Partial or full reimbursement for department approved courses applicable to job or promotion taken at accredited university or school.
Uniform (Field Staff Only) ATCEMS Upon Employment Complete uniform, except footwear.
Wage Continuation ATCEMS Upon Employment Eligible employees who sustain a work related injury or illness may receive benefits in an amount not to exceed regular budgeted pay.
